Modern flat screens and surround sound systems have radically changed the way in which a traditional room is arranged, often conflicting with the fireplace as the main point of focus. When taken to the next level, the room may be dedicated to the media system and entirely focused on the screen. Media rooms require close technical coordination to ensure that the hardware is fully hidden whilst providing the viewing and listening quality expected.
